So, today is my birthday.  (I don't think I'll mention exactly which birthday it is, as I want to reserve the ability to lie to my children about my age in the future.  It's kind of a family tradition.)  Anyway, I've been thinking a little about the resolutions I might make for what I should do over the next year.  Not the serious resolutions (like career and family ones) or the self-improvement resolutions (like diet and exercise)--those are for New Year's.  I'm thinking more about the trivial resolutions.  So far, I have:

--Learn how to make cinnamon rolls from scratch.

--Try not to slum around the house in worn t-shirts and such at least 2-3 times a week.

--Learn how to control jumping and shooting in at least one video game (so as to decrease level of husband annoyance when we play together).

--Try sea urchin roe.  Preferably with sushi and not on its own.  (Roe textures kind of ick me out.)

--Try mushrooms again to see if I still think that they're the vegetable of Satan.
